Important Update

After battling Carpal Tunnel syndrome for the last few years, I have had to undergo surgery in order to fix my broken hands. This has resulted in me taking some time out to recover.

During my time of recovery , I have realised that I honestly do love my job, I have had the opportunity to meet so many awesome people that have become friends as well as clients, you have all witnessed me at my best and worst and you have always trusted me! So a massive thank you to you all ๐Ÿ˜˜.

Lots of changes have come over the last couple of months, my husband was taken to hospital for a while, Covid had spread its way around my children and myself too which wasn't much fun at all! I also had to make a very difficult decision about my business.

I started working in that little building back in 2008 and started my own business in 2011 and that has been successful ever since it started ๐Ÿ˜Š. I had almost finalised on the purchase of the building after lots of faffing about and all I needed to do was sign the paperwork BUT.... something kept stopping me from doing that ๐Ÿค”. All of a sudden I was experiencing so many things happen in my personal life and then boom my health went downhill. I did the whole "is this it for the rest of my life?" thing that every adult does at some point in their lives.

The short answer I came up with was "NO". Quite simply.... LIFE IS TO SHORT.

As much as I loved that building, it also came with restrictions on my freedom. And after lots of thinking I decided that the time had come to walk away from the financial burdens, the too many new rules and regulations to keep up with and the constant worry of trying to make everyone happy all the time and oooh G*D the anxiety! I don't want to just be confined to being a salon owner for the rest of my life! I'm only 34 years old and there's way to many years left of working and creating ๐Ÿ˜‚. Plus I actually want to hang out with my boys whilst I'm still allowed to without looking weird and enjoy them more because I missed out on so much of their baby stages due to working so much!

So because I truly do love what I do, I have made the decision to remove my business from the old premises and start a fresh.

I shall continue to do my thing on all my awesome clients but will be working from home or mobile going forward. Obviously I can't work until my hands are healed but hopefully that will be in around 11 weeks for me to be back to normal ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿคฃ. This way I can be more flexible for my clients and also have more FREEDOM โค๏ธ. I understand if you want to go to another salon as some do prefer that environment and If you've found someone that your happy with whilst I've been off then that's awesome too ๐Ÿ’• Thank you so much for your support over all these years ๐Ÿ’• A new journey has begun xxx
